Hi, My name is Marie New and I have designed and created the tiaras, jewellery and other accessories that you will find available on this webiste.
I have had an interest in making jewellery and accessories for over 18 Years. I have made many pieces over the years and made all of the design details, jewellery, bridal accessories and favours for my own wedding in 2008.
I have recently had success in reaching the finals of @Jewelery Maker of the Year 2010' for my gunmetal swarovski and pearl headdress 'Renee' and 'British Bead Awards 2010' for my 'Evie's Miracle' crystal necklace.
I hope you will see something that catches your eye on my website. However, should you not see anything that appeals to you, or if have design ideas of your own, I am more than willing to create a bespoke item to meet your individual requirements.
Customer satisfaction is very important to me and I aim to offer a friendly, professional and efficient service which you would be pleased to recommend to others.
I have always been highly creative from a very young age I was always making and designing with fabric, beads and bits of wire and such. After leaving school I went on to study Art & Design at College, specialising in textiles, and design and then on to University to study Textiles and Design Crafts up to Degree Level.
Over the years I have developed a passion for jewellery making and have attended numerous courses on jewellery making, accessory design, fashion, textiles and hat/fascinator making. Upon graduation, I then went on to work in various creative fields including machine embroidery, as a bridal seamstress and jewellery manufacture.
In 2005 I decided to share my skills and train others, taking my Postgraduate qualification in teaching. I have been teaching textiles, fashion and design up to A'level ever since. Many of my students also have a keen interest in jewellery as a result of my interest in the subject.
Since becoming a mom in 2009, I now teach design on a part-time basis which gives me time to focus on creating the beautiful accessories you see available on this website.
I love being creative and and like to rise to challenges so if you have an idea for an accessory or favour that would make your day extra special, please get in touch with me.
